I started a new business dismantling motorcycles in 1977. During that year I was in need of some help in the shop, when a young 17 year old lad with a passion for bikes walked in and asked me for a job - his name was Mick Flynn. Within minutes the decision to employ him was made, (the start of his motorcycle career) and what a star player he was! From then on his whole life seemed revolved around bikes, going on to start up his own successful business. I would like to think that Mick had been rewarded enough with the pleasure motorcycling had given him during his lifetime.
Mick's motorcycle accident was in all too familiar circumstances, and is a tragic loss of such an easy going friendly and likeable guy who was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in trouble.
